The Society has been in existence for over 70 years with its principal aim being to provide community interest in horticulture and develop skills in garden and allotment expertise amongst its members and beyond. It is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society and the Federation of Enfield Allotment and Horticultural Societies.

One of the Society’s primary activities is to manage the allotment site known as Oakwood North Allotments. The site, which also boasts a trading shed open to the Society’s members, is situated not far from London Transport’s Oakwood Station in the London Borough of Enfield.

Membership of the Society brings a number of benefits and is only £4 per annum (renewable on 1^st April annually) and new members are always welcome.
