LATEST NEWS – UP DATE ON RESPONSE TO COVID-19
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation we have reluctantly decided to close the trading shed – the safety of members is paramount, and we cannot risk being the transmission point for the disease. However, if members wish to contact us we can arrange for one-off purchases to be made. Please contact us at this email address firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss any purchases. We will let you know when we intend reopen the shed.
The Council have informed us that the collection of plot rents for this year is to be deferred until 1st June 2020. Therefore we will not be issuing invoices until the middle of May. This deferment will also apply to Society Membership fees and current membership cards will remain valid until June.
Should you not be intending to continue with your plot tenancy please inform the treasurer by emailing us at this address
If you want to contact us regarding anything please email us at email@example.com
The Society has been in existence for over 60 years with its principal aim being to Here provide community interest in horticulture and develop skills in garden and allotment expertise amongst its members and beyond. It is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society and the Federation of Enfield Allotment and Horticultural Societies.
One of the Society’s primary activities is to manage the allotment site known as Oakwood North Allotments. The site, which also boasts a trading shed open to the Society’s members, is situated not far from London Transport’s Oakwood Station in the London Borough of Enfield.
Membership of the Society brings a number of benefits and is only £4 per annum (renewable on 1st April annually) and new members are always welcome.
