Annual Produce Show and Social – 5 September 2026

Show: Scout Hut on Green Road – from 9:00 – 13:00
Social: Allotment Site – from 13:30

At the core of the Society’s activities is the Annual Show, a long‑standing tradition that showcases the skill, dedication and creativity of our members. Planning for this year’s event is well underway. From horticultural exhibits to floral arrangements and homemade goods, we encourage all members to participate.

Even if you feel you don’t have much fresh produce for show day, you can still join in — a small harvest can become a lovely cake, chutney or pickle, and your entry counts just the same as fresh vegetables. A tiny harvest can go a long way: bake it, bottle it, preserve it, and bring something delicious to the show.

Annual Show Timings:

The show is running on 5 September at the Scout Hall, Green Road N14 4AP. the timings are:

• 9:00 to 10:00 – time to drop off entries at the Scout Hut
• Until 10:15 – Set up exhibits on the paper plates
• 10:15 to 12:00 – judging, exhibitors need to leave the hall
• 12:00 to 12:45 – public viewing of entries and prizes
• 12:45 to 13:00 – time to remove exhibits – anything left after this time will be disposed of
• From 13:30 people will be gathering at the allotment site for a social gathering.

Directions: The Show is taking place at the 14th Scouts Group on Green Road, which is a short walk from the allotment.

After the show, we’ll enjoy our usual social gathering at the allotment site, from 13:30pm. The event is open to all members and it would be good to see as many of us as possible, you don’t have to enter the show to attend. Family and friends are welcome to attend the social event.
